It’s hard to keep your makeup on all day in the Philippines. What with the humidity and heat, we not only have to contend with frizzy or limp hair (depending on your hair type), but also perspiration — endless perspiration. Sometimes, even before you’ve stepped into the office, your makeup has already melted off!

To counter this problem, here are some melt-proof products you need to keep your makeup intact all day:

Eyes

Even waterproof mascara can get clumpy by the end of the day. To get bright, awake eyes without looking like a raccoon, invest in a handy smudge-proof eyeliner that gives you that sultry touch all day long.

Face

A lightweight finishing spray gives you a fresh dewy glow. It’ll sit on like a second skin while making sure your makeup stays put, plus a touch-up in the middle of the day is a great way to give yourself a quick refresh.

Lips

This is a not-so-secret trick that makeup artists use to make lipstick stay put. After applying your lipstick, place a piece of tissue paper on your lips and dust translucent powder over it. It provides a good surface for the lipstick to adhere to and thus stay on longer.
