Kelsey Merritt shares the makeup tools and techniques she did for her VSFS casting.

Our very own Kelsey Merritt revealed through a makeup video the exact makeup look she did on herself that landed her a spot in the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. We may not have her rocking bod, her legs-for-days, or even her adorable freckles — but hey, the least we can do is to try to work the same makeup look and see where that takes us!
Prep
Kelsey spends a significant amount of time prepping her skin before makeup. She starts by mixing in sunscreen with her moisturizer. After her face preps, she moisturizes her body with coconut oil, too! She shares that the night before, she likes to moisturize her hair and scalp with some fresh aloe extract.
Makeup
This Victoria’s Secret stunner prefers a bronzed-up makeup look while still looking natural and dewy. Kelsey starts by applying a luminous base that’s a shade darker than her own skin tone to mimic a healthy tan. To keep her skin looking like skin, she skips powder and moves straight on to concealer — a full-coverage one for spot concealing on blemishes and another concealer that is more lightweight and sheer to brighten under the eyes.
For contouring, she uses a stick contour to add subtle definition to her face. After laying down all the cream products, she applies a powder blush in a rose-nude hue to her cheeks and across her nose.
Her uber-easy yet uber-chic eye look used a single bronze shade starting from the lash line and blending upward towards her brow. She finished her eye look by curling her lashes, and applying mascara.
As a final step, Kelsey applies a peachy tan lip color and a very small amount of highlighter on the high points of her face.
