The extreme nature of exploration reveals itself in the world’s most rugged and arid locations like Saudia Arabia’s AlUla Desert with its dramatic sandstone canyons and endless sand dunes. As the first actual Parfum in the line, this new iteration is a tribute to the original Explorer Eau de Parfum with a more intense composition for a deeper olfactory experience. The fragrance opens with the fusing green top notes of bergamot coupled with clary sage representing the vivacity and strength of the intrepid adventurer. The mystery of patchouli meets a captivating note of Ambrofix™ to create the hypnotic heart of the fragrance that evokes the faraway lands traveled by the Explorer man. The base of the fragrance is dominated by the woody sensuality of warm amber and the power of leather accords, paired with the elegant facets of vetiver creating an indelible imprint on this olfactory adventure.

A design fit for the most Extreme conditions
The fragrance itself shares a name with one of Montblanc’s signature leather collections: Montblanc Extreme 3.0 collection, built for everyday travel and adventure. The collection’s distinctive textured pattern that expresses modernity and dynamism covers the exterior of the glass fragrance bottle, topped with a shiny black gear cap.
The small Montblanc emblem set on the front of the bottle is a nod to the Maison’s commitment to elegant style, fine quality materials and the best of European craftsmanship. That very craftsmanship is exemplified in a bottle produced and assembled in the Montblanc-dedicated Pelleteria workshop in Florence, Italy, as well as an emblem crafted in Germany and a product conditioning process finalized in France. The bottle, crafted from fully black lacquered glass thus further embodying the fragrance’s intensity, is protected by a folding matte black box featuring the exclusive Montblanc Extreme Leather pattern enhanced with the fragrance’s name in gold lettering.
