Manila’s style sisters, Liz and Laureen, wear pieces you never thought you could mix-and-match!

Wesee fashion choices and trends change ever so often. One minute we’re all about the monochromatic look, the next we’re choosing neon patterns over neon patterns. Suffice to say, fashion is anything but stale — excitement and thrill is what it’s all about!
Just last month we were obsessing over wearing the same color from head to toe, but times have changed! We’re now exploring the best color combinations and style sisters, Liz and Laureen Uy, are here to show us some unconventional color combinations you probably never thought of piecing together!
Purple + Green
We’re not gonna lie— purple and green is quite the adventure. Two bold colors in one look is quite frankly for the brave girl. At least, that’s what we thought. Our style mentors, Liz and Laureen Uy, show us that the color combination is definitely wearable. The pairing looks really fresh, and we’re sure we’ll be radiating radiance anywhere we go!
Lilac + Purple
Not much of a jump away from the monochromatic trend, but we think pairing lighter and darker shades of the same color is definitely a no fail. Pairing different hues together gives you and your outfit some dimension and attitude. BRB, going to check our closets now to see if we have these colors!
Pink + Yellow
This color combination is definitely reminding us of some fruits, peaches, and the warm tropics. Something about the combination of these two all-time favorite colors is making us feel like we’re just on a lovely vacay.
Blue + Pink
Gone are the days when blue was for boys and pink were for girls. Now a lady can wear whatever color she wants and we think mixing the two colors is one way to make a bold and fashionable statement.
Purple + Blue
Well, you can say blue and purple are color wheel seatmates. No wonder, they look like a match made in paint heaven. These cool colors create the perfect amount of contrast and coordination at the same time. We think we’re so convinced, we’re making sure we have these colors in our wardrobe!
