Kyline gives more background on their initial acquaintance and insights on her first impression of Kobe, "Honestly, I didn’t recognize him at first. I was very close with his older brother Andre. So I knew him from Andre. But when I first saw him, my initial thought was 'Oh this guy’s very tall' because I didn’t recognize him with his beard and long hair." She then playfully remarks, I was with my brothers when I first met Kobe. He was shy, but as you all know I’m a talkative person."

The couple has found common ground in more ways than one. "We’re both Virgos, so there’s a lot of similarities, and we're both weird, so it’s a match, " Kobe shares with a grin. While their commonalities and quirks were what drew them to each other, it’s their ability to be authentic with themselves and each other that solidified their connection. Kyline gushes about Kobe, "He’s very true. Very authentic. No ka-plastikan in him. That’s rare in the world we live in right now. "

Kyline beams at the thought of heading home with Kobe, "I’m excited for him to experience the way we enjoy and celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. I would love to experience Simbang Gabi with Kobe."

When asked about their ideal Christmas mornings, Kobe paints a cozy scene: "Eating breakfast with Christmas music playing. " For Kyline, it’s the anticipation of "preparing for the Christmas dinner” that makes the day extra special.

And when it comes to cooking for Noche Buena, Kobe laughs, "I’ll be doing the cooking! I have no choice but to listen to the boss." Kyline chimes in, "It’s definitely Kobe! I know how to cook some dishes but I'm too shy to make Kobe try them."

With KyBe getting ready for their first Christmas trip together, we asked them about their travel essentials. When it comes to New Year’s resolutions, Kyline says: "I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions. If you want to stop or start something, don’t wait until the New Year. [One thing] I've learned from Kobe is to stay true to yourself. Don’t be shy to say weird things or do weird stuff as long as you’re enjoying it and you’re not hurting other people."

For Kobe, it’s about rediscovering his passions: "I learned from Kai to dream big, no matter what! [This 2025], I'm finding my passion again.”
