Sofia Andres has got places to go, and yet she’s already covered much ground. From her onscreen success, countless endorsement deals, and millions of followers – the young actress has long cemented herself as a powerhouse in the entertainment industry. Lauded as one of Asia’s most stylish tastemakers in fashion, her accomplishments over the years only continue to grow. Tall feats achieved all while gracefully navigating motherhood at a young age. Now, poised for even greater strides, Sofia lets us in on her journey — from where she’s been, to where she’s ambitiously headed next.
Style, for me, is a reflection of one’s identity, creativity, and visual experimentation. Fashion is one thing that I perceive as an extension of myself. It has taught me a lot about my own taste – of what pieces make me feel empowered, confident, romantic, or comfortable. Through dressing up and exploring styles, I’m constantly learning (and relearning) a lot about myself!
Over the years, I’ve come to embrace timeless classics and silhouettes that best fit my body. My style evolution reflects my growth as a woman and how confident I’ve grown to become. My priority in dressing now lies in what makes me feel most confident – something that I want Zoe, my daughter, to learn when she grows up.
I always believe in the power of accessibility and comfort when it comes to exploring style. It sets a bigger playground to discover pieces that feel true to you. As luck would have it, Forever 21 offers both accessibility and style diversity.
Some of my dream travel destinations for the upcoming seasons are Norway, Iceland, New Zealand, & Monaco. Mostly countries that have colder climates so I can explore layering more with my outfits! And Monaco’s just for the lifestyle, you know?
When I’m going to a country with a climate that’s more cold, I pack clothes that I can layer. And if I’m visiting a place that’s on the warmer side, I go for airy pieces. The key to being chic in all these different countries is being aware of the environment and scene you’re visiting!
Apart from comfortable & accessible clothing pieces, my travel essentials would have to include skincare and my favorite perfumes!
Reconciling with fashion can be a challenge for new moms – I’ve been there! But if there’s anything, start by learning to be kind to yourself, and from there, finding joy in dressing up follows! Learn what works for you and go for pieces that make you feel happy, beautiful, and confident.
I always perceived fashion as one thing that can be passed onto our kids – and no, it’s not just about vintage pieces or age-old style hacks. More so, it’s about how they can also find their own identity in their own style after seeing their moms embrace that path.
The convenience of it all! I love how online shopping is so convenient for busy moms like me who can’t find the time to visit physical stores.
I get to shop my favorite Forever 21 pieces with generous discounts and exclusive promos, which elevate my entire shopping experience!
I’ve learned the importance of protecting one’s energy, choosing peace, and surrounding myself with the right people. One of my biggest goals is actually in the works now – and that’s to have our first house, which I’m extremely grateful for! After my hustle period this year, my last goal is to reconcile with my rest period. That means making more time for my family, friends, and becoming a super active mom to Zoe. I also want to take this time to be kinder to myself, my body, and my mind.
